Established in 1991, Middlesbrough-based Whitestone Weavers offers a wide range of high quality, well priced woven and tufted carpets.
We design our own Axminster ranges and manufacture them at state-of-the-art facilities in Eastern Europe where all products use the finest British wool. Thanks to our high-tech production methods, we are able to offer some 400 different carpet options and have the ability to maintain an excellent stockholding, allowing for greater flexibility and shorter lead times.
Not only does Whitestone Weavers supply domestic products to major independents, a number of multiples and buying groups, but the company has also moved into the contract sector. Its Fast Track service offers a good instock-collection as well as a dedicated in-house designer who works with clients to develop a design of their choice using specialised software and offering infinite choice and flexibility for the end user.
The whole operation is supported by a high level of paperless warehousing, hand held scanners and bar code systems. It is this commitment to swift, cost-effective service and ongoing investment into latest technologies and new product development that has seen the company enjoy year-on-year sales increases.
